I am Peter Roth and I endeavored to become an entrepreneur 8 years ago. I was fresh out of college and experiencing unfulfilling, underpaying jobs and knew that I wanted to start my own business. I knew that cigars were my biggest passion, and more importantly my current cubicle job felt way too much like a scene out of the movie Office Space - complete with Swingline stapler and toner cartridge tragedies.

I started Stogies & Bogeys as a kiosk in Park Meadows Mall. Late 2005 I decided to make the leap and go a few steps further by opening a much larger shop. I started the process by searching for retail space. I happened upon a great space that was far too big so decided to build a martini lounge on as well.

I figured if I was going to have a bar, I might as well make it a world-class one... so I started as a jazz club. That concept worked nicely for about a year and The Denver Post named us one of the top 3 best jazz clubs, but unfortunately the long-term support just wasn't there so evolution took its course. Now a few years later, Citysearch has awarded us 6 Best Of Awards for 2009 (a record I'm pretty sure!) including Best DJs, Best Singles Scene, Best Happy Hour and Best Romantic Bar. 5280 Magazine just awarded us Best Singles Scene for 2010 Top of the Town awards, and Channel 7 just gave us the A List award for Best Trendy Bar for 2010. Not too bad eh?

Today, The Robusto Room is a very unique blend of martini lounge, meets nightclub, meets cigar bar. It is definitely the most unconventional cigar bar you will ever see.
